Dr. Stan Reeder served as a youth pastor and lead pastor of growing churches in Canada and the United States for 25 years before being elected to the role of Superintendent for the Oregon Pacific District Church of the Nazarene in 2009. He has a doctorate from Fuller Theological Seminary. Stan enjoys hockey, backpacking, and spending time on the Oregon Coast. His wife Janet is a Chief Nursing Executive and they currently reside in Portland, Oregon. They have two grown sons, a wonderful daughter-in-law, and one beautiful granddaughter.
Dr. Tomas Alvarez
Latino Ministries Director
Dr. Tomas Alavarez was born and raised in Arriaga, Chiapas, Mexico. He became a follower of Jesus at age of 12. Married to Ruth in 1978, and together, they have four grown children and seven grandchildren. He graduated from Spanish American Nazarene Bible College with a BA, received a Master of Divinity from Nazarene Theological Seminary, and a Doctor of Ministry degree from Fuller Theological Seminary.
Tomas served as a pastor and evangelist in Mexico from 1981 through 1998. During those years, he planted five churches in that country.
Since 1998, Tomas has been planting churches in Illinois, Colorado, and now in Oregon.

Rev. Bud Pugh
Assistant to the D.S.
Bud Pugh began his service as the Assistant to the Superintendent in December 2003 after having served in lead pastor and associate pastor roles in Colorado, Washington DC, and Oregon. He was born and raised in Alaska, attended and graduated from Northwest Nazarene University, and was ordained an Elder in the Church of the Nazarene in 1989. He married Maggie in 1982 and has 3 children and 8 grandchildren. Bud serves as District Secretary; leads the ministerial development process for the district; serves as the liaison to the District Church Properties Committee; facilitates the work of the New Works Task Force; coaches pastors and church boards; represents the DS in church/pastor reviews, pastoral transition meetings with church boards and churches, and pastoral installation services; and supports a variety of other ministries on the district.
Rev. Steve Hamilton
Steve joined the ORPAC team in September 2013 as a part-time assistant. He now works full time as our office manager and serves as an associate pastor at Newberg Church of the Nazarene. He and wife Jeanette have 4 sons and 4 grandchildren (3 girls & 1 boy).
